2015 was a landmark year for digital, and mobile dominated throughout, aided by affordable handsets, easier data connections as well as further reach. Mobile retail has inevitably increased, and order value has grown faster than on any other device.
Mobile will continue to dominate in 2016 as people are spending an increasing amount of time on social media via apps, and it’s something every retailer should consider in their marketing efforts.
The UK and China are still the main forces within ecommerce and will continue this throughout 2016, with Japan being a rising ecommerce force to keep an eye on.
